09/24/2024 Leading Irish Workforce Management Solution provider, Softworks, is set to revolutionize the industry by unveiling their latest cloud-based Workforce Management Software at the HR Tech Conference. Dates: 24-26 September- Location: Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas- Softworks' booth: #4000
The latest version of Softworks Workforce Management Software offers a comprehensive solution for all workforce management needs, from time tracking to employee scheduling and HR management.
New enhancements to Softworks include:
- Updated Employee Scheduling features: With Softworks automated scheduling you can now build compliance, shift fairness and distribution rules into the employee scheduling module which is designed to consistently learn and develop the most efficient schedules. Scheduling has a major influence on employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency. Automated scheduling reduces the amount of time spent on scheduling, enables a higher degree of “first-time-right schedules” and reduces the number of revisions to planned schedules.
- Enhancements to Employee Expenses functionality: Integration with Google Maps allows mileage expense calculations to be more accurately estimated.
This enhancement delivers an easy way for employees and managers to check mileage expense accuracy before submitting expenses, ensuring greater transparency for managers and fewer delays in the expense process, a welcome benefit for employees.
- New email alerts: Additions to the existing suite of email alerts which notify managers of actions that need attention such as unapproved absences, delayed or missing time clockings or leave requests. Managers can view and action each item directly from their email without needing to log into the Softworks system.
These alerts expedite managers’ daily employee administration tasks and ensure employees benefit from faster response times to leave requests enhancing their experience of the leave process. - Updates to the Employee Self-Service Mobile App The Employee Self-Service App now features optional functionality that can allow employees to self-schedule or to declare their unavailability for specific days. With this feature, employees experience more control over their work schedule allowing them to more easily balance work with other commitments and improving their experience of the scheduling process, a major influencer of employee satisfaction.
- Updated Skills Matrix Dashboards: All new employee skills matrix dashboard makes it easier to see skills gaps or expiring employee skills at a glance. This feature arms managers with up-to-date information on skills to mitigate risk for compliance by ensuring adequate training is completed and to aid strategic decision-making around team development. - New APIs: Building on the existing integrations with leading HR and Payroll providers, Softworks now has integrations with various recruitment systems.
These latest integrations allow for a seamless employee management experience from application to onboarding to ongoing employee management.
Commenting on the latest updates to Softworks, Chris Deegan, Chief Technology Officer at Softworks “Customers who adopt our Workforce Management Software consistently report that it transforms the working lives of their HR teams, People Managers and employees by simplifying and automating employee management tasks and delivering benefits such as cost savings, enhanced employee engagement and improved productivity.”
